Construction Division

The Construction Division of the Office of Property Management (OPM) implements and oversees the Capital Improvement Program for agencies within the District of Columbia, as well as executes the capital budget program, consisting of the rehabilitation of existing real property facilities, and construction of new facilities supporting the District. The Construction Division ensures the timely and cost-effective delivery of superior quality engineering and design, construction, as well as a variety of other technical services on all capital development projects within the District.

Construction Process

As the agency charged with a large number of the District's construction projects, OPM follows a strict process to ensure that projects are delivered on time and on budget. A chart with a detailed description of this process is available here.
